married, is a journalist and native of Belo Horizonte. He has worked in various
communications media in Belo Horizonte and abroad in the areas of photojournalism and
radio broadcasting. Rodrigo's work has been published in many internationally circulated
magazines such as Time, Stern and Interview, among others. In 1992 he was chosen Most
Indiscreet Photographer by Stern magazine for his photos of Princess Stephanie of Monaco
with her bodyguard in Portugal when the romance was still a secret. Nowadays, Rodrigo Dias
is the coordinator of the website, www.bh100.com.br, and a collaborator with the community
network television station, Rede de Informação Popular, channel 44 of Belo Horizonte. As
a videoreporter, Rodrigo was responsible for live footage of the shooting of a policeman
during police strike demonstrations in Belo Horizonte, which was presented on Brazilian
national television by TV
More recently, on September 13, 1998, he worked as a freelancer for the newspaper, O Tempo, during the police removal of residents from the university dormitory, Borges da Costa, in Belo Horizonte.
